Artistic reproduction of the original, it shows the configuration of the United States just after the War against Mexico; the progress of the railroads and the inexorable advance to the west. It contains multiple illustrations that shows the commerce with the Indians, the buffalo hunt besides two illustrations of presidents Franklin and Washington; icons of independence that looks like they are holding the new republic. It can also be noted that right on the right bottom clouds behind the Washington Monument… Presage of the civil war?
To be honest, my intention was to do two maps, one of the east coast and other of the west coast; the history of the USA is something very interest and permeates our minds, especially during the period where it was defined the actual boarders. Who knows one day?
